Executive Assistant to the President
Under the direction of our new President, Franklin Pierce University is seeking to fill the position of Executive Assistant to the President.
The successful candidate will be responsible for a broad set of complex assignments related to the duties of the University President and the management
and operations of the University. Primary among them is a demonstrated ability to anticipate problems, critical issues and opportunities as they arise
and
advise the president and other senior officers of the university accordingly. The Executive Assistant to the President provides coordination and liaison
with
other members of the senior staff, the Board of Trustees and other constituencies both on and off the campus.
Qualifications for the position:
- A master's degree is required, doctorate is preferred. 5-7 years experience as a department leader in higher education.
- Have experience collaborating with senior staff on crisis management, project management, and university planning.
- Demonstrated significant experience working with students, faculty, parents, and elected officials.
- Prior experience in budget preparation, management, and analysis; ability to exercise a high level of discretion in the handling of sensitive
information; exceptional writing and organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities while remaining highly organized.
- Documented expertise in producing speeches that articulate the vision and ideas of a President.
