
Franklin Pierce is seeking a dynamic, energetic and experienced individual to join our team in the Division of Student Affairs. The Assistant Director of Student Activities provides coordination and direction for the operational function of the Office of Student Activities with a specific emphasis on the operation, promotion, management and scheduling of the Flint Campus Center. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to the supervision of 25-30 work-study students, advise the Campus Activities Board in all aspects of operation, oversee all on-campus club fundraising, oversee the orientation coordinator program, co-advise the yearbook committee, coordinate advertising and promotion of events and groups associated with Student Involvement. This individual will also be responsible for attending and overseeing evening and weekend events.
For this position, a Bachelors degree required, with a masters preferred, plus two years relevant administrative experience. Strong organizational, supervisory, scheduling and fiscal management skills. Interest and enthusiasm a must for working with a wide range of individuals, including students and groups within the college community. Program planning, event management, counseling and/or mentoring experience a plus.
