Safety Officer
Franklin Pierce University
is looking to a per-diem position reporting
to the Director of Campus Safety. This position is for Saturday and
Sunday day shifts.
This position performs a variety of safety, enforcement and crime
prevention tasks for the College. Basic duties include foot and
vehicle patrol, response to emergencies and calls for service,
documentation of incidents, traffic and parking enforcement, assist
with campus safety computer records and reports, and providing crime
awareness education.
Candidates should have a minimum of a High School Diploma, an
Associates degree in criminal justice is preferred; two years
relevant work experience. All candidates must have a driver's
license and a good driving history, a basic knowledge of relevant
laws and safety and fire prevention preferred. Candidates must
possess good judgment, discretion, excellent interpersonal skills
and the ability to work as a team member.
