RINDGE, NH - The public is welcome to Franklin Pierce University for our annual Earth Day Forum on Tuesday, April 21 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Pierce Hall.
Keynote speaker, Dave Lunati, Director of Marketing at Monadnock Paper and an expert in the field of sustainable print and packaging initiatives, has 13 years experience working in paper manufacturing and technology for a wide range of industries. Lunati has been integral in developing Monadnock's suite of eco-friendly products and services for the printing and packaging industry and is a leading advocate in promoting the use of environmentally preferable paper and packaging products, resources and techniques. Originally from Boston Mass., Lunati is a graduate of Harvard University.
The day will include information on incentives to be "greener" from the government and utilities. A variety of exhibitors will offer products and information to help you "green" your home and business, as well as educational opportunities and more. All events are free and lunch is available for $10. Reservations are recommended as seating is limited. Please call 603.899.4322 to reserve a place.
Franklin Pierce University is at the forefront of the green movement with recent sustainability initiatives including a conversion to wood pellet heating of campus buildings, elimination of disposable dinnerware in the cafeteria and initiatives of student groups such as the ECO Club, the Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) and the Small Business Advisory Group (SBA).

Parking for the Green Business Forum:
The easiest place to find parking is in the DiGregorio parking lot, which is next to the athletic fields (turn right at the first stop sign on University Drive). From there, follow the signs for the forum. They guide you up the hill to the main campus towards the Campus Center, which is the prominent building with the big glass windows facing the lake. The entrance to Pierce Hall is in the back of the campus center.
