blockRich is Professor of Graphic Communications and Information Technology and holds a Bachelor's degree in Art and Theatre and a Master of Fine Arts degree in Intermedia. He's been teaching graphics, art, theatre, and music for 20 years and has worked as a professional graphic designer, art director, creative director, and freelancer for over 30 years. His specialties are typographic work and logo designs, several of which are in use internationally; CD covers and publicity for fellow musicians and craftspeople; and teaching typography and computer graphic design. In what little spare time he has, he plays bass and guitar professionally, most often accompanying his son, Brendan Carey Block, who is the US National Junior Scottish Fiddle Champion. He and his family live on a 230 acre sheep farm in rural Antrim, New Hampshire.
