Mass Communication Films & Videos
Our students shoot their projects on High Definition and Mini-DV digital video and edit on Avid digital editing systems.
They screen their films and videos:
- In classes, where they receive feedback from students and faculty
- In the Fitzwater Center, where they hold premieres
- On FPTV, the campus cable station
- In film & video festivals
- At the annual MC Senior Film Festival

Political Coverage: Franklin Pierce students also work extensively with The Marlin Fitzwater Center for Communication in covering local and national elections. Students interview candidates on campus, in Manchester, NH and throughout the northeast. In 2008, Franklin Pierce students traveled to the Democratic National Convention in Denver, Colorado and the Republican National Convention in St Paul, Minnesota.
