Thousands of fans hanging on your every word—waiting for that moment of relief: goal… touchdown… home run! A Sports Media major at Franklin Pierce will prepare you to bring your passion of sports to fans across the world.

Your coursework will combine study in print and online journalism, radio and television broadcasting, electronic communication, marketing, public relations, and social media. Outside of the classroom, you’ll be
able to host your own campus television or radio show, broadcast live sporting events, and write for the campus print and online newspapers. Plus—you will work with your professors to develop an online portfolio that showcases this real-world experience.

Best of all, our rigorous commitment to on-campus experiences have enabled Franklin Pierce students to land internships at prestigious organizations, including ESPN, the NBC Olympics, and WEEI 93.7 FM.

You will graduate as a sports media specialist with the expertise and professional portfolio to pursue a career in one of the most lucrative industries in the nation.
