Scholarships for Dancers

There are several scholarships reserved specifically for dancers at Franklin Pierce University.

The Alvin Scholarships
These are several scholarships reserved specifically for incoming freshmen and are awarded on the basis of talent, accomplishment in dance, and recommendations. There is a special application process involving submission of a video/DVD sample of work, recommendations, and application form with deadlines in early spring. Please contact the Admissions Office regarding these scholarships.

The Winter Dance Scholarship
This scholarship is warded each year to a current student who exhibits outstanding work in performance and/or choreography relating to the annual dance concert.

The Dennise Messier Memorial Scholarship
Each year one or two scholarships are awarded to current students for outstanding achievement in dance.
