How do I apply to Franklin Pierce University?

Students can apply to Franklin Pierce University using our online application http://www.franklinpierce.edu/academics/ugrad/apply.htm.

Is there an application fee?

No, Franklin Pierce University does not have an application fee.

Will all of the credits that I earned at Mt. Ida transfer to a degree program at Franklin Pierce University?

Yes, we will accept all credits earned at Mt. Ida. 

Aside from the application, what else do I need to send?

Students will need to email a copy of their college transcript (we will accept unofficial transcripts) to .

What if I can’t get my transcript?

Please contact the Franklin Pierce University Admissions Office at 800-437-0048 for assistance.

Is an interview required?

No, an interview is not required.  Franklin Pierce University will accept all currently enrolled Mt. Ida students in good standing. 

What are my financial responsibilities?

Prospective students should add Franklin Pierce University, code #002575 to the list of schools authorized to receive your Free Application for Federal Financial Aid (FAFSA) results.  Once admitted, the Student Financial Services Office will prepare a comprehensive financial aid award. 

We will provide 20 full-tuition scholarships for current Mount Ida students who enroll at Franklin Pierce as full-time residential students. Additional applicants will be eligible to receive generous transfer scholarships. All scholarships will be awarded through undergraduate degree completion.

Do you have courses in my major?

Franklin Pierce University offers courses in 23 majors.  For a complete list of our majors and courses, please refer to our academic catalog http://www.franklinpierce.edu/academics/catalog/.

Can I participate in extracurricular activities?

Students can participate in any of our club or intramural sports and get involved in the 25 to 30 clubs and organizations we have on campus http://www.franklinpierce.edu/studentlife/todo/index.htm.

Can I live on campus with my current Mt. Ida roommate who is also planning to attend Franklin Pierce University?

 Yes, we will honor roommate requests.  We will also seek to provide a living community for Mt. Ida students enrolling at Franklin Pierce.
