Incoming Students:
Incoming students awarded a Federal Subsidized or Unsubsidized Stafford Loan will be sent notification after July 1, 2008 to complete a Master Promissory Note (MPN). This document will be used in order for your Stafford Loan funds to be disbursed onto your student account.
You may choose any lender to fund your Stafford Loan. Franklin Pierce University has prepared the following lender list, outlining borrower benefits, for students to choose from when completing the online Master Promissory Note. This information will be included via the online portal after July 1, 2008. Students do not need to complete this process until after July 1, 2008. Should you select a lender that is not on the Franklin Pierce University lender list, you must notify your SFS Counselor via email.
Continuing Students:
Students continuing their program of study at Franklin Pierce University in the Fall 2008, who were enrolled during the 2007-08 academic year, will not have to complete another Master Promissory Note unless the student wishes to change their lender. Students wishing to change their lender must notify their SFS Counselor in writing, prior to May 1, 2008. Otherwise, Stafford loans for 2008-09 will be generated with the same lender you used in the previous academic year.
