Venue/Location: Marulii Welcome Center (Alumni Lounge)
Date: Friday, April 25, 2014 - 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM
Sustainability Certificate students - those in both the Sustainability Seminar and Sustainability Project courses - will present their projects as well as experiences from the three weeks preceding Earth Week. Sustainability Seminar students, through some combination of photos, videos, and stories, will share what it was like to take on one of three "sustainable practice" challenges. These students will have (by their choice) gone vegan for a week, used no disposable goods for a week, or carried around all their trash waste for three days. Sustainability Project students will showcase their work, including a musical performance series, glass and ceramic art, zero-waste move-out, and other glitzy, glamorous sustainability actions!
Faculty, staff, and students are encouraged to bring their classes, co-workers and friends to see and support what these students have done and will continue to do through the semester.
