2016 Senior Class Gift

Senior Class Gifit LogoEach year the senior class works together to leave behind its legacy, in the form of a Senior Class Gift. This is an opportunity to work together to accomplish a goal and the first chance for your class to join forces with the thousands of alumni who have paved the way and supported you. Throughout the years, alumni have invested in Pierce and you, because they believe in your talent and your passion.

Now, led by Gift Chair Stephen Keimig, and with the support of the Class of 2016 Gift Committee, you are ready to join alumni in supporting future generations of Pierce students.

Why support the Senior Class Gift program?

  • It Has Impacted You: The Senior Class Gift touches every area of campus. No matter your major or extracurricular activities, your time at Pierce was made better by previous seniors' and alumni gifts.
  • You Can Make a Difference: By making your gift, you have the special opportunity to ensure that future students can create their own unique Pierce experiences, just like you did.
  • You Can Show Your Pierce Pride: Your participation shows your confidence in Pierce's mission and the education you received, setting a powerful example for underclassmen.

Ways to make a gift

The primary focus of the Senior Class Gift is to support the Pierce Annual Fund, which in turn, supports the University’s priorities, including financial aid, faculty support, technology, athletics, student clubs, etc. Taking part in the Pierce Annual Fund through the Senior Class Gift program and in future years as alumni is extremely important as even modest gifts impact overall donor participation, which serves a variety of roles in strengthening Pierce's future. However, you do have the option to designate your gift to any area or program on campus.

Gifts in Honor: Consider making your Senior Class Gift in honor of anyone who made your time at Pierce special. Pierce students come from diverse backgrounds and have varied histories, but everybody knows somebody who has made a lasting and significant impact on your Pierce experience. For example, a professor, a staff member, coach, or family member. Gifts in Honor recipients will receive a notecard from the Advancement office stating you have made your gift in his/her name.
