The first annual Showcase of Academic Excellence is the centerpiece of Franklin Pierce University’s week-long inaugural celebration, “Engaged in Learning and Service.” The Showcase will feature Franklin Pierce student presentations, performances and poster sessions. Student work runs the gamut from academic papers on poet Christina Rossetti to performances from medieval musical groups to nature photography exhibits to business plans to bolster local economies.
In addition to the showcase, the University community will be participating in community service initiatives, including Alumni National Community Service Days, and many other events celebrating the inauguration of Franklin Pierce University’s fourth president, Dr. James F. Birge.
