Programs and Services of the New England Center for Civic Life
The New England Center for Civic Life provides regular training for community leaders who want to facilitate deliberative dialogs and other kinds of community and organizational discussions.
The Center maintains a database of trained moderators and makes it available to organizations and communities. It also provides local moderators to those who want to use deliberative dialog to guide discussions and decision-making.
Campus and Community Forums
NECCL holds forums on campus and throughout the state on major issues such as diversity, health care, immigration and education.
Conferences and Seminars
The Center holds conferences and seminars and gives presentations on the practice of deliberative democracy and civic renewal.
Community Outreach Projects
NECCL has worked with several communities and organizations on dealing with complex issues using deliberative dialog over a sustained period of time.
