Taking Pride in your Child's Higher-Education.
The Franklin Pierce Parent’s Association is an organization of parents whose children are enrolled at or have graduated from Franklin Pierce University. The association seeks to foster a positive and productive relationship between parents and the University, and to involve parents in the life of the University in ways that will be helpful to the students and supportive of the mission and vision of Franklin Pierce University.
Some of the benefits of joining the Pierce Parent’s Association include:
January 2014 - New Student Orientation
One way parents can send a special message of love and support to their student is by taking advantage of the Favorites From Home program. Does your student have a favorite home cooked main dish, side dish, or dessert? Send in the recipe to Sodexo Dining Services and they will follow your instructions as closely as possible, and notify your student when their favorite will be on the menu.
Spring Athletics – Help Cheer on the Ravens! The following Ravens athletic teams are in action this fall. Parents are encouraged to attend a game or two and help cheer on our student-athletes. Click on the team you are interested in to be taken to their team web page, where rosters and schedules can be found.
2014 Pierce Parents Fund
The Franklin Pierce Parents Fund is an opportunity for all parents to help enhance the Franklin Pierce experience for their student and his/her classmates. Supporters of the Pierce Parents Fund are important partners in providing a strong scholarship and financial aid program that over 90% of our students benefit from. Supporters also help fund campus and classroom improvements, student programs, and a strong athletics program. Gifts can be made online in response to our Fall “Pierce Proud” mailing, or by calling the Institutional Advancement office at 603-899-4030.
Keep track of how the 2014 Pierce Parents Fund is doing by visiting our Parents Fund page.

Job and Internship Opportunities
The Franklin Pierce Career Services department has a job board with local and non-local full, part-time, seasonal, and internship opportunities. The Lloyd & Helen Ament Astmann '69 Career Center also hosts workshops and has one-on-one meetings available for appointment to discuss resume writing, job search strategies, career planning and more. Encourage your student to take advantage of these important resources.
Student Account Management
Go to Online Billing and Financial Accounts to see your student’s account balance, view recent statements and make payments online with credit card or e-check. Note: Your student must add you as an authorized user of their account before you can access their account.
Franklin Pierce University values the input and support of our student’s parents! If you have talents and abilities that you feel could help our institution grow and improve, please consider volunteering. There are many ways to get involved, with varying degrees of time required.
If you have not yet joined the Franklin Pierce Parents Association, please join and then select the volunteer opportunities that may interest you.
If you already have an active membership in the Parents Association but have not yet opted to volunteer, review and update your volunteering options on our online volunteer form.
Please contact us if you have any questions about becoming a volunteer with Franklin Pierce University. Email us at email@example.com, or call 603.899.4021.
Help us Recruit the Class of 2018!
We need the help of all parents in recruiting new students to our university. There are two Open House events scheduled this spring (click here for schedule), and one of the best forms of advertising is word-of-mouth. Please encourage friends, co-workers, neighbors, and anyone else in your circle of acquaintances to find out what Franklin Pierce has to offer. If they cannot make either open house, tours can easily be arranged by contacting our Admissions office at 603.899.4050, or via email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Upcoming Open House dates:
Sunday, February 9, 2014
Saturday, April 12, 2014
Thanks for your help!
