Abstract:
On Thursday, September 29, an event called Learning While Black took place in Spag Hall. 57 Black-identified students attended. The purpose of the event was to hear the experiences of our Black students as they move through this campus and the greater community as well as to connect them to Black faculty and staff. Since then, the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion has hosted Learning While LatinX, Learning While a Female, Learning While an Athlete, and Learning While LGBTQ.
