Joan A. Swanson, Ph.D.
Joan Swanson, Ph.D. is the Associate Professor of Education.Dr. Swanson earned a B.S. from Indiana Wesleyan University, an M.S. from McDaniel College, and her Ph.D. from the University at Albany.
Dr. Swanson is a certified teacher in New York State and brings 19 years of teaching experience from grade school through college aged classrooms.
Dr. Swanson’s professional research interests include the impact of technology on instruction and learning, adolescent and emerging adult development, and play.
