William Landay: Author of New York Times Bestseller 'Defending Jacob'

Franklin Pierce University’s English Department will host William Landay, author of New York Times Bestseller Defending Jacob on November 19, 2018 at 6 p.m. in Spagnuolo Hall. 

Landay is the winner of the British Crime Writers Association (CWA) New Blood Dagger award for best debut crime novel for his 2003 novel Mission Flats, and the Strand Magazine Critics Award in 2012 for excellence in mystery fiction for Defending Jacob. His novel the Strangler was the Los Angeles Times favorite crime novel of 2007.  

Landay is a former District Attorney from Boston who attended Boston College Law School and will be signing books for those who attend, which will also be available for purchase.
