Monday, February 11th, 12:00 PM - 02:00 PM
Dwight Pogue will give a demonstration of his “Century Plates” printmaking technology he developed with printing plate engineer Skip Klepacki. Century Plates have a lifetime similar to ’old school’ lithography stones since they can be erased and re-surfaced dozens or hundreds of times, just like a lithography stone. Printmakers can use a singleCentury Plates to print a 10- or 15-color lithograph! Simply erase the previous image or re-surface the plate to accept a different image. This event will take place in the printmaking lab, Petrocelli Hall 224 and is open to the public.
This event will be located in Petrocelli Hall.
