Crispin Munyanya is no stranger to overcoming challenges. Originally from Congo, Crispin and his family immigrated to the United States. The youngest of five children, he watched as his father paved the way toward a brighter future, all without knowing a word of English.
As a transfer student, Crispin was drawn to Franklin Pierce’s tight-knit community and accessible professors. A member of the men’s soccer team, he created lifelong relationships with his teammates who, like himself, came from diverse backgrounds, but found a home at FPU.
