Franklin Pierce University Conference Services provides excellent conference, meeting site and recreational experiences. The campus offers unique meeting spaces, outstanding athletic facilities, an excellent food and beverage team and a dedicated staff to take care of your group with personal care.

Nestled on 1,200 acres next to Pearly Pond and with beautiful views of Mount Monadnock, Franklin Pierce University provides an excellent setting for your business conference, sports camp, group event, wedding or other special event. With its unique location and layout Franklin Pierce University is a perfect place to hold your event.

The Conference Services staff can provide you with one stop service to assist you with whatever your group may need. Whether it is an academic conference, family reunion, religious camp or a wedding Franklin Pierce University is a great location for your event.

Weddings

The 1,200 acre campus, nestled between Mount Monadnock and Pearly Pond provides a picturesque setting for your wedding.

Summer Conferences

Both residential and meeting services are available for larger summer multi-day conferences.

Sports Camps

Franklin Pierce University Conference Services has many athletic and recreational facilities available for summer sports camp and tournaments.

Meeting Room and Event Facilities

Book your next event at Franklin Pierce University and you have access to a comprehensive list of facilities that are perfect for a variety of different size groups. Along with classrooms and lecture halls with state-of-the-art audio-visual capabilities the campus offers performance and meeting space that are unique to Franklin Pierce University.

Spagnuolo Hall

Spagnuolo Hall is a multi-purpose space that has served as a perfect wedding facility, lecture hall and live performance venue.

Field House

The Field House can host over 800 people and has hosted Graduations, large dinners, concerts and government public discussions.

Cheshire Community Room

Cheshire Community Room a modern room that is perfect for lectures, seminars or small receptions and meetings.

Cheney Hall

Cheney Hall is great for concerts, lectures, performances and small receptions.

Cheshire Lawn and the Manor Lawn

Cheshire Lawn and the Manor Lawn have both been utilized as perfect locations for large meeting tents hosting events such as weddings, meetings, concerts, recreational events and religious services.

Lakeside Education Center

Lakeside Education Center overlooks Pearly Pond and is an exceptional location for rehearsal dinners, meetings, workshops and is a favorite of our quilting schools and retreats.

On Campus Lodging

Franklin Pierce University offers a variety of housing options to accommodate any group’s overnight needs. During the school year the Conference Services department works with local lodging providers to host any groups that need overnight accommodations.

 

Northwoods and Mountainview Apartments

Northwoods and Mountainview private apartments offer two bedrooms (each with two twin beds), one and a half baths, a living room, kitchen and open dining area. Each apartment accommodates up to four people and each complex can accommodate 120 people. Washers and dryers are available in the building along with a common area that can hold 50 people.

Cheshire HallCheshire Hall is a semi-private 128-person suite style air-conditioned residence hall. The bedroom suites contain 6-7 bedrooms per suite with either one or two twin beds per room. Each suite shares a kitchen, living room with cable TV and a common bathroom area. Off each suite is a small study area work room. This three-story building is equipped with an elevator and washer and dryers.

Townhouses

Lakeview Townhouses each have three bedrooms (two twin beds per bedroom) three bathrooms, full kitchen, dining room and living room, washers and dryers and are air-conditioned. Some town houses have efficiency-style studio apartments on the lowest level. The town houses and efficiency units can host 160 people.

Traditional Residence Halls

Our five traditional residence halls typically contain, single, double and triple rooms, with bathrooms located in the halls. Each hall can host 40-200 guests. Washers and dryers are located in all the buildings.

Recreation Facilities

Franklin Pierce University Conference Services has many athletic and recreational facilities available for guest use or rental. For groups or tournaments additional services can be requested such as athletic trainers, training rooms, announcers, score keeping etc. for an additional cost.

 

Dining & Catering

By partnering with Sodexo Dining Services, Franklin Pierce University has the ability to provide a meal for every event.  From family style meals to working lunches, from ice cream socials to full service banquets and receptions, we’ve got what it takes to make your event memorable. Each menu is crafted with our guests to ensure that we are on target within your budget and that we have considered everything from your event theme to allergy or dietary concerns.  Guests who join us for meals in the dining hall experience restaurant quality food plated for each individual diner.  Whether you select a meal plan or catering, you’ll enjoy meals worth savoring!

Services Available

The Conference Services Department works closely with all the support departments to ensure your group’s needs are met and you have a relaxing enjoyable experience at Franklin Pierce University. The Conference Service Department acts as your central contact point for all your needs, whether it is special audio-visual needs, to outdoor seating that needs to be set up, to arranging transportation to an off-campus event or special catering needs.

Technical

Audio-visual / Media Services: The team can arrange for any special audio-visual needs you may have.

Computer Services: The IT department is here to assist if you need to use the computer labs or wireless services.

Catering

The food and beverage team can provide you with all the options: a kids’ sports camp menu in the Cafe, a rehearsal dinner barbecue at the Lakeside Education Center or an elegant wedding dinner under a tent on The Manor Lawn.

Our Food and Beverage team will work with you to make your event something you will remember.

Campus Safety

Campus Safety is committed to the safety of everyone on campus. The campus is monitored and patrolled 24 hours a day.

Office Services

The campus offers copier services as well as a full print shop service.
