2023 Alumni Reunion Weekend
Join us for Alumni Reunion Weekend as Franklin Pierce University welcomes alumni back to the Rindge Campus July 14 - 16, 2023! Throughout the weekend visit with fellow Ravens at Pearly Pond, reminisce on the Manor Lawn, and celebrate all things Pierce.

Friday, July 14
3 – 7 p.m., Alumni Reunion Weekend Hospitality Lounge
Start your Alumni Reunion Weekend festivities by registering at the Hospitality Lounge.
Stop in to pick up your name badge, giveaways, campus maps, and schedules. Those staying
on campus for the weekend can check in to housing.
4 – 5 p.m., Marlin Fitzwater Center for Communication Tour
The Marlin Fitzwater Center for Communication at Franklin Pierce University invites
alumni to tour the Center and the Robert ’69 and Nancy Patterson Television Studio.

5 – 7 p.m. Pioneer Reception – Graduates from 1966-1973
Join fellow alumni from the classes of 1966-1973 at a casual reception on Pearly Pond
hosted by Carleen Farrell ’71 and Dan Farrell.
Saturday, July 15
8 – 10 a.m., Breakfast with Alumni
Enjoy breakfast with fellow alumni on campus.
9 – 3 p.m., Alumni Reunion Weekend Hospitality Lounge
Your first stop to begin the Alumni Reunion Weekend festivities will be at the registration
and hospitality lounge. Stop in to pick up your name badge, giveaways, campus maps,
and schedules. Those staying on campus for the weekend can check-in to housing.
10 – 11 a.m., Golf Cart Tours of Campus Tour
Enjoy a student-guided tour of the 1,200-acre Rindge Campus. Let your tour guide know
if you have any special requests! Tours leave every 15 minutes.
11 – 11:45 a.m. Alumni Association Annual Meeting
All alumni are invited to the Alumni Association Annual Meeting led by the Alumni
Board of Directors. Learn more about the work they do on behalf of all Franklin Pierce
graduates. This meeting will be live-streamed for alumni who are unable to attend
Reunion Weekend.
11:45 a.m., We Remember Well
Together we will remember those in the alumni community that we have lost this year.
12 – 1:30 p.m. Franklin Pierce Alumni Celebration Lunch
Join alumni and friends on the Manor Lawn for a New England Clam bake while we celebrate
all things Franklin Pierce. President Mooney ’83 will share an update on the University, and we will celebrate the milestone anniversary classes, with special recognition
for the Class of 1973’s 50th Reunion.
2 - 5 p.m. Library Archives Exhibit
Visit our Franklin Pierce commemorative display and explore the best of the physical
and digital archives at Franklin Pierce University.
2 - 5 p.m. Open Waterfront Recreation
Enjoy all that Pearly Pond has to offer! Take a canoe ride, kayak, or try out a stand-up
paddleboard. Or challenge your classmates to a friendly game of cornhole, kan jam,
spike ball, ladder ball, or giant Jenga. The Lakeside Educational Center will be open
for changing and refreshments throughout the afternoon.

4:30 – 6 p.m. Milestone Anniversary Toast with President Mooney
Alumni celebrating their reunion anniversary (anyone whose class year ends in a 3
or 8!) are invited to join President Mooney ’83 and Greg Walsh at Pearly House to
reminisce and toast to the milestone anniversary classes.
6 - 9 p.m. Dinner and Trivia with Ravens
Spend the evening on the Manor Lawn (rain location Spagnuolo Hall) and catch up with
fellow alumni. Following dinner, test your know-how for all things Franklin Pierce
and general knowledge during trivia!
Sunday, July 16
8 – 10 a.m. Breakfast with Alumni
Enjoy breakfast with fellow alumni on campus.
9 a.m. Mount Monadnock Hike
Continue the tradition of hiking Monadnock with Ravens!
12 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. Barbeque Lunch on the Lawn
Enjoy a barbeque lunch with fellow alumni before departing for the weekend.
Sunday Afternoon Stay and Play in the Monadnock Region
Spend time exploring the region. Opportunities include spending time close to Campus
on Pearly Pond or hiking our trails. Beyond Franklin Pierce, visit the Cathedral of
the Pines, berry picking at Monadnock Berries, and more.
Monday, July 17
Rocky Classic Golf Tournament
Join us for the 2023 Rocky Classic Golf Tournament on Monday, July 17th at the Northern
Spy Golf Club located in Townsend, Massachusetts. The Rocky Classic directly supports
our student-athletes through program enhancement and facility upgrades and ensures
that each student reaches their academic potential.

HOUSING
Housing will be available in the Lakeview Townhouses on campus. For those who wish to stay off campus, local lodging establishments are available.
