A.L.A.NA Annual Service Awards Ceremony

A.L.A.NA (African American, Latino/a, Native American, Asian American) Diversity Initiative here on campus recently held their annual MLK Dinner and Service Awards Ceremony.

President Mooney, along with the A.L.A.NA Advisory Board recognized 19 students for their service and commitment to social justice. Family, friends, faculty and staff attended the event, which began with the award ceremony followed by a dinner. The night concluded with a reflection on the life and legacy of Dr. King. 

A.L.A.NA strives to create an inclusive community that honors the life experience of all our students. A.L.A.NA serves as a support system that works with A.L.A.NA students, and others that are committed to the values of justice and equality for all. View the Slideshow
