President Mooney Congratulates 2020 Graduates

On May 16, 2020, President Kim Mooney ’83 reached out to Franklin Pierce University’s Class of 2020 in a video message marking the day their Commencement was originally planned to take place.

She congratulated members of the class for their perseverance and their strong sense of community in the face of the unforeseen impact of the coronavirus pandemic on their final term. Her message included a video montage set to the University’s alma mater sung by Emma Gelinas ’20. The video shared a personal message from the president, along with highlights from the campus in Rindge and graduate centers in Manchester, Portsmouth, and Lebanon, New Hampshire and Goodyear, Arizona.

Franklin Pierce University will confer 641 degrees, including 85 Doctoral degrees in Physical Therapy, 118 Master’s degrees in Business, Nursing, Education, and Physician’s Assistant Studies, 430 Bachelor’s degrees, and 8 Associate’s degrees.
